Spent the morning doing logistics at the Laughing Horse Inn. Found out my State Farm car insurance is worthless.
Seems they changed theft insurance so it covers the car if it's stolen, but not its contents. I've had the insurance for 27 years, and that's news to me. It definitely used to cover contents, they replaced a stolen portable radio once before. I have reviewed my coverage at least three times in the last five years with my soon-to-be-ex-insurance agent, Barbara Newhouse in Mill Valley - every year when they jack up the rates and I need to raise my deductable once more. Not one mention of coverage reductions.
So my losses from yesterday's car break-in include CD's and dirty laundry to one small time crook and years of insurance premiums to one big time crook (State Farm).
Any recommendations for a new insurance company? Or are they all slimeballs? After the revolution...
Harrumph. Enough of that.
In the afternoon we headed south, and stopped in at Bandelier National Monument. It cost $10, to help fund tax cuts for rich people. But it was nice anyway.

Here's a view from the cliff dwellings:

And a nice stream runs through it, too.
