And today we skiied, first day of the season. Ski Apache is near Ruidoso in the middle of New Mexico. The Apache reservation runs it. Base elevation is 9700'. Great views towards Taos from the road to the resort.

It was sunny and clear in the morning, but by noon it was dumping. They only had 25% of the mountain open, two intermediate and three beginner lifts. So there was a lot more we were missing, but then again lift tickets were $29 instead of $39.

There are about three million pictures of me skiing various places over the years, all looking pretty much like this one. I will try more creative shots soon but this is all I have today. I'm tired, and just got out of the hot tub. Awww.
