Today was the day we left Port Aransas for New Mexico adventures and skiing. A slow start (what else is new?), and a stop by Janette's parents' house to say goodbye. Here are Christopher and Casey on Joe's lap, me, and Jonathan and Skyler on Noel's lap.Janette and her mom Jamie were behind the camera, but trust me, they do exist.
The rest of the day was a reverse of the drive last week. But this time no Texas troopers. I think it's because the car won't go over the speed limit with our extra weight. We rolled into Pecos, almost to the New Mexico border, around ten o'clock.
It was a good visit. Nice folks, southern hospitality. Kinda laid back kinda place. Ate too much, now it's time to get ourside and move around!
