Texas Trip May 2004

Hard to believe, my little boy Noel has turned 30...frightening, really... made a quick dash to Texas, rented a nifty PT Cruiser and cruised on over to Port Aransas for the big event.

Hung out with the three! grandboys, Skylar, Casey, and my first time seeing Trey, the latest. Birthday party Saturday afternoon, then went fishin' all night long, hee haa!. Well, I asked him what he wanted and that was it. We got fish and I still made it back to work in San Francisco Monday morning, jet lagged and smelling fishy, if not dubious.

Different culture, Texas is...beer, fish (lots of fish), and big-ass SUVs... Noel somehow has turned into a Texan, grew one of those ZZ Top beards, says "Yep" a lot. I'm glad he's not one of those evil Republican Texans, that would really be too fishy...all in all a good time was had by all...
