I saw the dawning of a new Millennium from the deck of a coconut-fiber houseboat, floating in the backwaters of Kerala, in southern India. Then I was off to Thailand, for a liveaboard dive trip in the Andaman Sea. No Y2K computer glitches for me, I had to go, somewhere where the fish don't have barcodes.
That's the executive summary. I had many more adventures, and a smattering of Deep Thoughts. Here are the details:

Chapter 3 - Raves and Robes January 22 to February 17 - Goa, Mumbai, Pune and the Floating Guy of Chennai
Chapter 4 - Back to the Islands February 17 to March 4 - Ko Samui, Ko Phangan, Ko Tao
Chapter 5 - Swimmin' with the Fishies March 4 to March 14 - Phang-Nga, Hat Khao Lak, Similan and Surin Islands, and briefly Burma
Chapter 6 - Massage and Mountains March 14 to March 29 - Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son
Chapter 7 - Money's Easy, Love's Tough - Singapore, returning to America on April Fool's Day
