Spent June 5 & 6, 2004 at the Planetwork Conference in the Presidio. What did I get out of it? I think I need a blog. I also need to back up my files and put Panther on my Powerbook. Hard time finding time. Sure will be glad to accomplish such things, eventually. Not making promises I can't keep, even to myself.
So the conference was great, once again. Lots of smart, wacky, geeky, inspiring and amusing people, I was in my element even if I don't know a Wiki from a weedwacker.
The mood was fairly upbeat, people see there's hope for regime change. A lot of politcal organizing is getting folks to do what they ought to have the damn sense just to do in the first place, in their own self interest. There are smart people, and there are wise people. Lots of brains and wisdom at Planetwork.
