Mt. Fusi is my very own piece of the mountain near Mt. Shasta. Named for the mythical lost Fusi Tribe which wandered about seeking hot water. My hot tub is a shrine to their naked rituals. I've owned the original house and five acres since December 2000. In December 2006, I bought the property next door, so now I have a total of ten acres, and i even got a yurt in the bargain. Nearby, there's downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter and good hiking in the spring. Deadfall Meadows has amazing wildflowers. Stewart Mineral Springs is less than fifteen minutes away, also offering massage and the world's greatest wood-fired sauna, remodeled by Bruce McKinley and collegues. He also constructed my deck and outdoor shower. And he's a photographer, too. The Black Butte Center for Railroad Culture is way cool. Ashland and Medford, OR are a little more than an hour away. Check out Jackson Wellsprings - can you tell I like hot springs? Mt. Shasta.com has good information, especially if you want Jack Trout to take you fishing...on sunny summer days you may find me on the deck of the Billy Goats Tavern in Mt. Shasta, lamenting the demise of the Village Oracle in Weed... Remodeling is finally finished. So life is good!
