Like the tides, life on the waterfront is a constant cycle of renewal and rebuilding. Specifically, Flemming and Josefina are building a new houseboat and so, they had to find a way to get rid of the old houseboat.
For a couple of weeks, it was anchored out. I had a massage on it during that time, which was very cool. But then it was time to donate it to the fire department. Here's Flemming shaking hands with his good buddies Mike Martinez of the Sausalito Fire Department, and Bill Price, Richardson Bay Harbormaster.
After I took the picture, they made us get out of the way so they could burn the sucker.
